"Police! Move and I'll kill you!"

Nothing like living in the Wild west...

It's a good thing that Israeli policemen don't act the same as the Palestinian ones.

In this article in the Jpost, we are given shocking examples of how Palestinian police "uphold" the law both on and off duty.

On-Duty

"On Thursday night, gunmen opened fire at the home of Youssef in Ramallah.

Policeman stationed outside the house responded by shooting indiscriminately, seriously injuring two passersby. "

Off-Duty

Dozens of gunmen, including off-duty policemen, blocked two major roads in the Gaza Strip on Saturday

Good thing the PA is a democracy...

"Police! Move and I'll kill you!" - that would be Sgt. Taggert in Beverly Hills Cop [the original, 1984].

Hate to say it...sometimes they aren't much better. I'm sure you've had experience with the Yasam. Look at what's going on in Hevron.

Hi jcop:

[regarding quote guessing]

OK, fair enough, I admit I searched for all of them except the 'Breakfast Club' quote and the 'Unforgiven' quote [which someone else answered already], so you really only owe me 1 post [and as Jameel told you, no need to hold your breath!]

As an aside, the 'who said' type of questions of Jameel's I knew because I heard/read the original [or enough of the party in question to successfully guess who it was]...

[The only other US movie that I might be able to reconginise quotes from would be 'Ronin', what a classic]
